January 14th - Natal

No dia de hoje a gente foi de manhã para o Centro de Lançamento da Barreira do Inferno. Depois disso visitamos o maior Cajueiro do Mundo de aproximadamente 8400m2 onde experimentamos as castanhas e o suco das frutas dele. Além disso, tivemos tempo para comprar algumas lembrancinhas nas barracas da feira do lado do cajueiro. Depois fomos à praia onde nos deram aulas e tempo para fazer stand-up paddle e algumas pessoas decidiram ir num passeio de banana boat na praia. A noite comemos em um restaurante de comida típica onde a gente comeu feijão verde, carne do sol e outras comidas típicas da região de Natal.

Today in the morning we went to the Barreira do Inferno rocket base. Later on we visited the largest cashew tree in the world of approximately 8400m2 extension where we tried the chestnuts and the juice of its fruits. In addition, we had time to buy some souvenirs in the fair stalls on the side of the cashew tree. Then we went to the beach where they gave us classes and time to do stand-up paddle and some people decided to go on a banana boat ride on the beach. The evening we ate at a typical food restaurant where we tried feijão verde (green beans), carne do sol and other typical food from the region around Natal.

January 13th - Maceió/Natal

Hoje foi um dia muito bom. Nós passamos a maior parte do tempo no ônibus. Tomamos nosso último café da manhã em Maceió, depois partimos para Natal (a cidade, não o feriado). No ônibus a maioria dormiu, mas nós jogamos charadas, onde você tem um telefone com palavras na sua frente e os outros tem que descrever a palavra. Depois assistimos a dois filmes do Senhor dos Anéis. Mais tarde fizemos uma parada para almoçar e depois de um tempo nós chegamos a Natal. Encontramos no hotel o Fred da Terra Brasil e jantamos comida Chinesa juntos. Um dia sem muitas atividades mas ainda assim um dia muito divertido. Agora nós terminamos nossa reunião do dia e vamos dormir. Boa noite!

Today was a really good day. We spent the day on the bus. We ate out last breakfast in Maceió. Then we left to Natal (the city not the holiday). In the most time on the bus most of us slept. But we also played charades. Which is where you have a phone with a word on your head and the others have to describe the word. Then we saw the first two Lord of the Rings movies which were really good. Then we stopped for lunch. And finally we arrived in the Natal. At the hotel we met Fred from Terra Brasil and had a nice dinner of Chinese food together. A day without a lot of activities but a fun day either way. We just finished our daily meeting and now we are going to sleep. Good night!

Maceió!

Nosso dia começou muito tarde, às 8:30 assim que deixamos o hotel primeiro com o ônibus, e mais tarde com um ferry, para o "litoral sul de Maceió" que é um tipo de baía do mar.
Passamos a maior parte do dia bebendo água de coco, comendo açaí, queijo grelhado, salsicha ou apenas aproveitando a praia nadando ou tomando sol.
Descobrimos o Banana Boat mais tarde naquela manhã; foi muito divertido e nos trouxe para a água profunda. Tivemos um tempo muito bom lá, mas tínhamos que voltar para o hotel às 2 horas da tarde. Nós ainda tivemos tempo suficiente para nadar na piscina do hotel e para pegar um bronze (alguns tomaram muito sol e terminaram mais vermelhos do que bronzeados).Tivemos tempo livre e a possibilidade de ir a um supermercado e depois chegamos ao nosso hotel novamente. Nos encontramos de novo para a nossa reunião diária após algumas rodadas agradáveis ​​de tênis de mesa, piscina e descanso.
Finalmente tivemos o jantar depois das nossas conversas. Uma banda de forró ao vivo de 3 pessoas começou a tocar durante nosso jantar, o que levou a uma festa diretamente depois.

Our day started quite late, at 8:30 with leaving the hotel first with the bus, later with a ferry, to the "litoral sul de Maceió" which is some kind of bay with sea water.
We spend there most of our day by drinking coconut water, eating açai, grilled cheese, sausage or just enjoing the beach by swimming or sunbathing.
We discovered the Banana Boat later at that morning, which was really fun and brought us out to the deep water. We had a really good time there, but had to go home at about 2 o'clock. We still had enough time to swim and to get a nice tan (some overdid it and ended more red than tanned).
We had free time and the possibility to go to a supermarket after we arrived at our hotel again. We met for our reunion after some nice rounds of table tennis, pool and resting.
We finally had dinner after our talks. A live forró band of 3 people began playing during our dinner, which lead to a party directly afterwards.
